Our Story
Holly LaBoda and Sara Black are the driving forces behind Luminaries Consulting, a company dedicated to accelerating the growth of their clients. They spent the first part of their careers transforming sales teams and leaders from the inside at leading organizations. When they first started to work together they found that their shared understanding of and passion for business impact made them unique, and their complimentary skills and focus areas made them a dynamic force for change.
They knew they wanted to expand their reach and their impact, so in 2018 they began Luminaries Consulting and have spent their time since, helping companies in transportation & logistics, and perishable food & beverage industries transform and grow. They love that their work is different every day, that they help their clients work through new and exciting challenges, and relish in being a part of their growth stories.

Meet Holly, a dynamic sales leader with a passion for helping her clients achieve remarkable growth. Holly cut her teeth at large, high-growth organizations before co-founding Luminaries Consulting, where she brings her expertise in crafting impactful sales strategies and delivering transformative development solutions that produce measurable outcomes. Whether it's developing go-to-market strategies or nurturing sales talent, Holly's focus is always on delivering real and rapid results.

She is a frequent speaker at industry events, and an active Board member for the Transportation Sales & Marketing Association where she received the honor of Partner of the Year in 2023.

Holly is an energetic force of nature who brings enthusiasm and passion to everything she does. When she is not helping her clients grow, she's focused on the growth and happiness of her young family in the western suburbs of Minneapolis and helping them experience all the beauty the world has to offer. An ardent learner and adventurer at heart, her favorite conversations usually result in book or travel recommendations.
